Swan Girl
I saw her on a beautiful but chilly spring day.
I was strolling in a large park.
She was barefoot and playing with the swans.
They seemed very comfortable near her.
I got the feeling that she was a swan herself,
who had transformed into a young girl to play
a day on the beach.
I wouldn't have been surprised had she transformed
back into a beautiful bird right there in front of my eyes.
She smiled as I took her picture,
as if she had read my mind about the transformation.
She seemed so innocent and care free.
I said something to her. I don't remember what now.
At least it made her lovely smile even wider.
